[edit] Host

A host is the leader of an alliance. Hosts are the highest in the alliance and manages the alliance. The host may expel members, declare war, group message, invite people to the alliance, accept pending applications, relinquish (withdraw job), change introduction, and manage roles. The host's embassy level affects the limit of members in the alliance (Level 2 means 20 members, Level 3 means 30 members, ect.). Each alliance may have a maximum of 100 members. So hosts must upgrade and use a Michelangelo's Script item for an embassy level 10, thus, enabling 100 members. (You can also use the Ritual of Pact which increase the limit automatically. Any member can use it.) Hosts often deal with diplomatic problems so sometimes, the host has vice hosts, who can deal the work while the host can concentrate on other means. The host is usually the founder of the alliance (if a then-host relinquish however and gives the role to another member, then that member will be host). There can be only 1 host.

[edit] Vice Host

The vice host is the second-in-command and helps the host. The vice host is almost exactly like the host except for two notable things: 1.) They do not have the "Relinquish Host" option. 2.) They can be expelled by the host. Otherwise, the vice host can run the alliance very well. If a host is inactive, the vice host can run the alliance by himself/herself. There can be up to 2 vice hosts.

Presbyters are very important to the recruiting business of the alliance. Presbyters can accept applications to join the alliance and invite people that do not have an alliance. Presbyters only have two things that an officer cannot do: promote others to officers and expelling people from members to officers. There can be up to 5 presbyters.

Officers are like presbyters except they can be expelled by higher roles and cannot promote anyone. Officers are very busy in recruiting members. They tend to look for potential members in and out of their neighborhood and often advertise their alliance in the world/beginner chat. There can be up to 10 officers.

Members are just ordinary people in the alliance. Their only unique option is to quit--which costs 10% of their prestige. Members are often people who can't be trusted to be in high roles, beginners, or just always meant to be members. Members are important still because they are the backbone of the alliance. They can help others with reinforcing and transporting goods to each other. They can also make the alliance chat fun. There can be up to 99 members and no more than 82 members (if all the other roles are filled up to their respective limits).
