Medal Farming

Medal farming is a term for engaging in activities that will predictably yield medals on a recurring basis. Medals are used for upgrading your rank and are one of the more difficult items to farm for.

There are 4 ways in which you may acquire medals:

• Attacking Valleys and NPC Cities.
• Winning them on the wheel.
• Purchasing them with real life money.
• Using game cents to purchase.

[edit] Attacking Valleys and NPC Cities

Medals are acquired randomly by attacking valleys. Below is a guideline to the type of medal drops you can expect to receive for successfully attacking a valley.

• The newer the servers are, the harder it is to get medals. You may not find any medals in valleys 1-7 you will need to hit 8-10

level valleys in order to get any type of medal Note: NPC's City drops are included here for comparison.

[edit] Medal "Grinding"

Also known as Medal Farming like stated in the name of the main article. Used to describe the process of getting medals quick, and as easy as possible with as much success as possible. You can raise the drop rate drastically by adding 1 scout to your waves. Further research needs to be done to find out what happens when you add more scouts. You also seem to be able to improve your chances to find medals by sending a burst of attacks into a valley, one after the other. It is suggested you leave no more than 10 seconds between them. It may be that more attacks in the burst will generate better chances of producing a medal. Right after conquering the valley with the first attack, you need to abandon it quickly to let the next attack conquer it, and repeat this process for each successive attack. You can have the maximum amount of valleys that your town hall will allow you to have, so you don't have to abandon the valley, which is a lot easier than having to keep clicking on a valley just to hit recall. The valley will regenerate new occupants immediately after you abandon it. For low level valleys (3 and under), only archers are needed to do this and it can be done with no losses, provided a sufficient number of archers are used. Numbers often quoted are 30 archers for a level 1 valley, 50 for a level 2 valley, 100 for a level 3 valley, 400 for a level 4 valley, and 750 for a level 5 valley. Further research needs to be done to document the drop rates with greater precision, and how the many possible variables might affect them. Also, you cannot send medals to other players. the best area for meadals is lvl 1-3 deserts i just got 4 cross and 1 rose in 20 min.

1. Attack any level 4 valley with 400 archers.
2. Attack any level 3 valley with 200 archers.
3. Attack any level 2 valley with 100 archers.
4. Attack any level 1 valley with 50 archers.
5. Attack any level 1 NPC with 50 ballista. Justice Medal/Nation Medal = L10 NPCs, (L9-10 Valleys on Super Servers)

3. Attack any level 3 valley with 200 archers.
4. Attack any level 2 NPC with 150-200 ballista.

2. Attack any level 6 valley with 1,500 archers.
3. Attack any level 5 NPC with 400-500 ballista.
4. Attack any level 4 NPC with 350-400 ballista.
5. Attack any level 3 NPC with 250-300 ballista.

1. Attack any level 8 valley with 7,500 archers.
2. Attack any level 7 valley with 3,000 archers.
3. Attack any level 6 valley with 1,500 archers.

general rule of thumb to break a 10 you want about 100k-150k warriors, and 200k archers, your heros need to be greater than 100 in att (prefer >200) send 3 waves of 3k warriors before break wave break wave should be 75k arch, 25k warrior

(very difficult)

1. Wipe out a level 10 NPC, then allow 40,000 warriors to regenerate.
2. Attack and defeat the level 10 NPC with 40,000 warriors regenerated.

• Nation Medals can also be won from the Wheel of Misfortune

add 1 scout with these and use a hero with over 70 intell

[edit] Justice Medals:

(very difficult)

1. Attack any level 10 NPC with 90,000 archers and a few thousand warriors, pikemen, and swordsmen.

• Make sure your hero's attack is very high.
