Best way to communicate with your fellow Alliance members, is using the Official Evony Wiki Ventrilo Server.
How to Connect to the Official Evony Wiki Ventrilo Server
the Official Evony Wiki Ventrilo Setup
Before completing the steps below please download the free CLIENT Ventrilo from: http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php Or Click Below.
[Windows XP or better Client]
[Windows 98/95/ME]
[Mac OSX 10.4 or better]
Step 1
First create a new user, by clicking the Arrow Button next to "User Name".
Once on this page, hit the New button to create a New User Name. Please Use Your theEvonyWiki.com User ID
Proceed by clicking OK.
Step 2
After you have created your User ID, it's time to setup the server. To setup the server click on the arrow next to "Server".
Server On the Server Setup Window, click the New button to create a new Server Connection. In the new window, just type the name of the GorgeousGamers Server. This can be anything, it is only a reference for you the user.
Please Fill In the Following
Hostname or IP: 208.122.34.40
Port Number: 3818
Server Setup
Proceed by clicking OK.
Step 3
If you followed the steps correctly. You have now setup your connection to the Ventrillo Server! But you're not finished yet! Now, if you wish to use the Push-To-Talk feature that allows you to easily start your voice chat from inside any game or application. Click on the Setup Button. On the setup screen check the box that says "Use Push-To-Talk HotKey".
Push-To-Talk
Once you have checked the Push-To-Talk box. Move down to the box next to where it says "Hotkey". In the box, click the button you wish to use for the Push-To-Talk feature.
Many users chose their Center Mouse Button (Mouse Wheel Button) as the Push-To-Talk button, because it does not interfere with the game play of many games. To use the Center Mouse Button, put your pointer over the box and press DOWN on the Mouse Wheel. If you have done it correctly it should look like this: HotKey
Proceed by clicking OK.
Step 4
You have now fully setup your Ventrilo Client and are now ready to connect to the Official Evony Wiki Ventrilo Server. Do this by clicking Connect.
If people tell you that you are too loud on Ventrilo, Please go back to Setup and adjust your Amplifier Properties. You do not need to Disconnect from the Official Evony Wiki Ventrilo Server.
