Increase a hero's loyalty by 30 when rewarded and is used for hero persuasion.
Wisdom Medals are one of the requirements for the following Titles:

Medal Rewards:
Medal Reward is an important encouragement system. A country gives it as award to those
who make outstanding contribution to the nation. Beside as award given to heroes, it can
also be used in the Persuasion of rival heroes.

Where to Obtain:
Try high level valleys 7-10 or level 5+ NPC's.
Note: I got a wisdom medal attacking a level 3 valley with 200 archers. (09/10/2009)
the very very very very best way i have found to get wisdom medals is to attack lvl5 npcs with:lvl 9 archery , lvl9 hbr , 350 ballistae
and also send transporters for plundering("see transports needed per logistics level" in NPC).
Results may vary. I usually get wisdom medals from Lv. 5 NPC's with 400-500 ballistae (lv. 10 archery, lv. 9 hbr ; depends on the hero's attack/intelligence). 400-500 ballistae with no casualties. I also throw in 500-1000 transporters for plunder.
